Andy is a Chartered Accountant with Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and member of Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) Australia. He has 20 years of experience with major audit firms in audit, taxation and accountancy that gained from both Malaysia and oversea. He was involved in numerous successful initial public offering (IPO) in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Germany throughout his career.
Andy started his career with a local audit firm in Malaysia. He then joined KPMG Kuala Lumpur after obtained his professional qualifications, i.e. MIA and CPA Australia in 2006. In KPMG Kuala Lumpur, he started to involve in the audit of multinational corporation (MNC) and public listed company (PLC). He also involved in the IPO of a financial services company in the Main Market of Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE).
In 2008, he ventured to China and since then, spent eight (8) years in China. From 2008 to 2012, he worked in KPMG Beijing as Manager and actively involved in audit and IPO engagements. In 2012, he joined a China-based manufacturing company in the capacity of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and listed the company in Frankfurt Stock Exchange in 2014 prior to his return to Malaysia. Upon his return to Malaysia in 2016, he joined Baker Tilly Malaysia as the Director of the Transaction Reporting department. He was then promoted to Partner in 2017 and led a team of 40, specialise in IPO engagements and actively involved in various corporate exercises, e.g. business restructuring, merger and acquisition (M&A), reverse takeover (RTO), transfer listing, financial due diligence, regularisation plan for PN17 company, fund raising and etc.
In 2019, he started his own public practice and assumed the role of Managing Partner. At present, he also sits on the board of directors of the public listed companies below:

– XOX Networks Berhad
– Perak Corporation Berhad
– Oversea Enterprise Berhad
Mr. Looi specialised in accounting and taxation matters. He started his career in a local accounting firm in Malaysia in 2001 to provide audit, accounting and tax services. After that, he furthered his studies and graduated with a Master of Accounting from the University of Malaya. He has over eighteen (18) years of experience in related industries.
In 2010, Mr. Looi set up his accounting firm. Over the years, Mr Looi has further specialised in taxation, which includes corporate tax, personal tax, Goods & Services Tax (GST), Sales & Service Tax (SST), Real Property Gain Tax (RPGT) and other indirect taxes. Subsequently, in 2018, Looi set up his tax firm, i.e. Bis Up Tax Consultant Sdn. Bhd. joint ventured with a local medium size tax firm, i.e. Bispoint Tax Consultant Sdn. Bhd. to provide tax planning, advisory and compliance services. Mr. Looi is experienced in dealing with income tax and customs officers and handling tax field audits, tax investigations, voluntary disclosure and tax appeal cases for his clients.
On top of specialising in taxation matters, Mr. Looi is a financial consultant for a few private investment-based companies, whereby he is actively involved in bonds and equities, futures and commodities, precious metal and real property dealing and investment. Furthermore, Mr. Looi provides financial consultation in relation to banking and finance matters such as financial analysis, financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, loan arrangement and fundraising for SME companies.
Phang is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) UK. He has over fifteen (15) years of experience with audit firms in audit, taxation and accountancy.
From 2015 to 2018, Phang joined an oil & gas service and equipment company listed in Bursa Malaysia in the capacity of Finance Manager, actively involved in the consolidation of group accounts, budgeting, Bursa quarterly announcement and preparation of the annual report of the group.
Furthermore, Phang was actively involved in providing accounting services, financial consultation and tax advice to SME companies, mainly in the industries of oil & gas, food supply chain, etc., in 2018.
In 2019, Phang joined HSL & Co. as an Audit Manager to continue his professional career in audit firms in audit, taxation and accountancy.
